Last night was beautifully clear and the moon was so bright. The full moon is tonight but it may be cloudy here unfortunately. I love the Cold Moon, the solstice approaching, such a wonderful time of the year.

Flights to/from San Juan have been purchased. Jet Blue decided to charge us 5 times for the same transaction so that’s a lovely hold on my credit card right now.

We had our annual Christmas party yesterday and one of my husbands college roommates has a longstanding tradition of doing a prank of some kind each year.
One year he hid the shower curtain. Another year he took all the lightbulbs out in our bedroom. Another year he had stickers made of his face with a Santa hat on and hid them all over the house in random places (think under the food scale, back of the coffee maker, etc.
This year? He hid 3 of these in the house. We’ve found 2 but can’t find the 3rd one and it’s driving me f***ing insane.

We started wrapping today and m’lady asked if we should put the kids gifts under the tree.
Absolutely not
Kids gifts stay hidden. They will be surprised on Xmas day. Everybody else, yes those can sit under the tree now because none of those people will see them until Xmas anyway
My kids are still young though. 10/10/12. I guess if everybody is older then maybe. But still, i like the surprise. The magic of Christmas is real!
I have a friend who as a kid their parents didn't put names on them
They would use different symbols for each kid so kids had no clue whos present was what

I've officially reached the "did I put my keys in the refrigerator" stage of life. Spent half an hour looking for my keys this morning and yes, I was so desperate I checked the refrigerator and various other hopefully unlikely spots.
Then I discovered them buried in a side pocket of my purse after the fourth time I checked my purse. So apparently in addition to being forgetful I am also blind.

We’ve looked everywhere. Taken the lids off all my candles to see if he hid it in there. Checked the f***ing covered butter dish we have in the hutch.

Maybe he hid it in the smoke alarm? They make equally annoying noises lol
When in doubt always check the fridge. I put a hook right next to my door so I can grab them as I leave. I have 2 deadbolts so I can’t just toss them in my purse and go like I used to.
I would have thought they were in a candle knowing how much you love them.
Speaking of candles, yankee candle is getting rid of their room freshener sprays and scent beads (for the bathroom) early in the new year. I snagged a few non Christmas ones during their buy 2 ged 2 free sale. I think I may be cut off lol.
You really need to get revenge for this prank.
