I probably need to watch it again, but I remember HATING It's a Wonderful Life. George Bailey was an asshole. Perhaps it will hit different now that I'm much older than the last time I saw it, but there's also a chance I see it as even worse.

Yes, I realize that this take is likely to get me tarred and feathered.

The Grinch and Charlie Brown though, treasures for sure.
I think it would hit different, in a good way. Alot of the struggle of family life vs. work, especially for people who own their own business in small towns.

@Morris Wanchuk That Fogelberg song is a gem! When I was working at the Walmart garden center in high school, that song would play CONSTANTLY over the Walmart radio. Loved it then. Love it now. Hearing it now made me feel like I was sorting Christmas merchandise alone at night in the back of the garden center. Such a peaceful gig.
Hah, when I worked at Big Y world class market they started the Xmas music before Thanksgiving so it was always confusing what holiday it was when we were making tons of snowflake rolls.

I think this song was in the rotation as well!

How often do you get your hair cut?
Quarterly, give or take. Usually if there's an event I have to go to or trip to visit family and want to be more presentable, I'll get trimmed before.

Though currently it's been about 6 months. My trip home to visit my parents got pushed up a month on short notice and I had been sick the prior weekend so I didn't have time to get a haircut beforehand. So I'm just letting it go for now. Once it gets to the point where it's all over my ears or neck and I can't handle it anymore, I'll get it cut, or maybe for Christmas photos, we'll see. Tried long hair during Covid lockdown, it was worth trying once in my life but too much to take care of full time.

Haircuts are just too expensive these days to justify monthly touch ups IMO.

I know the haircut question is more for the fellas…but I get a cut 2-3x/year. I’m very lucky that I like my natural color and haven’t had grays pop up. Allows me to be fairly low maintenance with my hair.

Just more $$ to spend on skincare and other stupid shit

I get mine cut about every 3 months. I get to cut hubby's hair! During covid lockdown, I did it for him. I was so excited because I always wanted to try. I think I would enjoy sheep shearing.

Weird timing but a nice follow up on the question. I was informed just now that we last had haircuts 9/30 and are scheduled for haircuts Monday night next week. With a caveat; “I don’t think I really need one. Do you wanna push until after Christmas?” Which is what she actually said. What I heard was, “we are gonna push haircuts out to January.”

Yes yes dear. Sounds great.

It has officially reached humidifier season here. I also need to buy a 3rd one for my living room. I envy those of you who have normal sinuses.
