They have Dvorak and Domi. Don't be so sure.
This was the worst outcome with the Oilers winning.
We will have to see between Strome/Marner/Hanifin.

Hanifin.

We know the leaf's need an elite D for the future and I like the kid's high hockey IQ and shut down game

Seems like Arizona would want Strome to battle in the West. Though if they wanted Marner or Hanifin, I'd be ok with that too.

Been hoping Marner all along but the chance at Hanafin creates a bit of confusion, so much so can't vote

Honestly, the Leafs gotta take Marner/Strome or I'll be enraged. Both kids have made it public on more than one occasion that they'd love to be Leafs and they both grew up in the area. Then there is Hanifin- the American. I'm not down talking Hanifin, but you gotta take one of the Canadians who are eager to be Leaf

“The thing with Noah is he’s hard to, what I would call … pinpoint a comparable to him. He’s a good mixture of a lot of hall of famers and a lot of future hall of famers,†NHL central scouting director Dan Marr said, going big and bold. “For me, he’s a real old school, old soul player who is excelling in today’s game, and when I say that, he just has that composure on the ice with and without the puck and is never rattled. He rarely makes mistakes, he’s rarely out of position. And when he does get into a position where he has to recover, he can do it quickly. “

Pretty sure the dogs take one of the forwards (strome/Marner) either as the big body number 1 they feel is needed to play in the west, or marner to be reunited with Dvorak, Domi and duclair. Either way we are month position to do anything short of BPA, and that's hanifin hands down over either forward. He's the third best prospect in the draft by a clear margin. Not as wide as him to McEichel but still imo he's a clear cut Above marner or strome
Hearing Edmonton won makes me wanna barf. How about #4 plus phaneuf plus ? Bernier? Nsh 1st +? if Connor pulls a lindros?

What?

You take BPA. That's it.

No where close to the worst outcome. Anyone after us is by far worse.

I'd think given that Arizona traded away Yandle at the deadline they'd look to prioritize drafting Hanifin.

But what do I know.

If Hunter picks Hanifan over his boy Marner, you know that the Leafs have landed a GD stud defenseman.
