Toss up between Celebrini and Hutson for me

I had Celebrini first up until last game

Voted Hutson because of bias, but they are neck-and-neck for me

Overall, one of the better class in recent years

Michkov is a monster too, and could still end up as the best prospect of this class

HM to Wolf, Stankoven and our boi Heineman

Celebrini still for me but Hutson is picking up the pace as the season goes on.

Celebrini still has the edge for me but the real winners are the fans. I've been tuning into more Habs and Flyers games than I can remember. Hutson's IQ impresses me more every time I watch and Michkov was an absolute monster before this slump. Wolf is a beast, too. Still lots of season to go, anyone of them can win it. I just feel like the drag of the back-half of the season won't affect Celebrini as much with his crazy conditioning. Excited to see how the rest plays out

Celebrini and it's not close (currently), though I wouldn't rule out Hutson (or Michkov or Wolf) in the second half.

Voted Hutson, but honestly all 3 of Hutson, Celebrini and Michkov are close. it'll come down to the 2nd half who wins.

I don't get why Wolf is even eligible to be honest. He played games last year, and the year prior too. Seems weird. I'd still have him 4th at best.

Wolf is eligible because he meets all the criteria...

He is also 13-6-2 with a 2.60 GAA and .914 Sv % on a team that is bottom 5 in goals scored.

What he is doing, as a rookie, is remarkable.

My top 5
Demidov
Celebrini
Hutson
Wolf
Michkov

Wolf is having a great year, idk that he’ll be able to pass either of celebrini or Hutson…. But I think he def deserves top 3

If the Flames make the playoffs and continue the abysmal offensive production they have put out the last couple of months, and Wolf's numbers continue... I don't see how it isn't him.

Hutson has impressed me most, so between him and Celebrini he gets my vote. Celebrini has been very very good too, so I fully understand why most pick him.

I won't consider Wolf at all as it is so hard to compare goalies and skaters. Michkov was advertised to me as sure PPG (even 100P) guy, so kind of disappointed. Last 5 games 0 points and -6 or something. Could bounce back though.

I really want Hutson to win, but given what Wolf is doing on a not very good team as a below average goalie in terms of size i have to go with him and Celebrini 2nd, Hutson 3rd.

Celebrini and Hutson are doing well, but its even more hard to have this impact on a game as a rookie goalie.

Yes, Wolf is like 3-5 years older than the players eligible that are up there, but it's still really impressive and would get my vote.

Wolf is a legit choice

IMO he's 4th but it's a really competitive year for the rookies this year and there's a lot of time for those four dudes to prove themselves

To be clear, I'm not saying he's not having a very season, I just think the criteria is stupid. He played in two different seasons already, so I don't think he should be eligible. This isn't a dig at him, just at the criteria. I similarly thought it was stupid for Panarin to win at age 24 for example.

As for Wolf - right now he's on pace for 44 games played. If all of Celebrini, Hutson and Michkov have strong 2nd halves, I think 44 games will be too low. I think he'll have to play closer to ~50 games to have a shot at winning the Calder. Which is still possible, but we'll see.

Right now I still have him 4th (maybe 3rd now, with Michkov going pointless in 12 of last 14 games).

This is the problem for Wolf in that he's going to be in tight to even play in the low 50s.

Right now he is at 22 GP and the Flames have 41 games left, even if he plays in 31 of the last 41 that's only 53 GP.

That being said I think there is a very strong case for him over Michkov if the season ended today as Michkov has had a brutal run in his last 13 games.
