If the Hawks end up with the third pick or worse, what order are you ranking these three centers after Misa?

Hagens but it's close. I like Frondell alot. A hell of alot... but it's still Hagens for me. Talk to me in a couple of months though and that might change.

Has Hagens been that bad since the WJC or what am I missing?

Huge gap for me between him and the other two.

And Martone? Eklund? Where are they in the conversation? Oh sorry I guess it's only about Cs my bad.

I am going to have to do some research on Frondell and Desnoyers to give an answer here.

I think it’s size and two way play concerns that have people leaning in other directions.

Hagens > Frondell >>>>>>> Desnoyers

Frondell has 14 points in his last 7 games (against men) while playing around 13 minutes a night. If he finishes the season strong with Djurgården and has a great u18 he might be the second forward of the board after Misa.

Personally, I’m leaning Frondell. Hagens not dominating like Celebrini, or even Fantilli is a concern. His size vis a vis the rest of the young centers on the team or prospects is a potential downside too.

I think it's a combo of prospect fatigue and he isn't really dominating the NCAA like you'd like to see for a top pick. Especially since he's among the oldest players in the draft and his team is pretty stacked- you'd feel better about his pro projection at his size if he was generating offense at a higher clip.

Still have him ahead of any other forward besides Misa personally

I would take Hagens and not have any doubt about it. I like Frondell and I could see a world where they prefer him to Martone but Hagens is going to be a good one.

Not bad, but very ordinary.

Hagens deserves more respect for now but this may change after the U18 Worlds. Misa and Frondell have more games remaining

1. Schaefer
2. Misa
3. Hagens
3B Frondell
5. Desnoyers
6. Martone
7. McQueen
8. Lakovic
9. Eklund
10. Bear
11. OBrien

I'm not high on Desnyoyers.

Right now, it's Hagens > Frondell, but there is still time for Frondell to take the lead. He's been excellent the past month or so.

For comparison's sake, Frondell is nearly the same size as Dalibor Dvorsky (Blues pick at 10th overall in 2023). Both are considered 2-way centers. DD had only 14pts in 38 games in his draft year in Allsvenskan. Frondell has 16pts in his last 10 games in that same league.

That's how good AF has been recently; without his injuries to start the year, he'd be in that Schaefer/Misa/Hagens/Martone group at the top of the draft. And yeah, he could climb past a couple of those guys depending on how his performance is the next couple of months.

Kind of hard to believe some people still have McQueen on their lists, with what's gone on with him and the similarities to what's gone on with Cayden Lindstrom.

Frondell 1+1 tonight which makes it 16 points in last his 8 games. Frondell, Hagens and Desnoyers that is my order atm. Frondell is really good and reliable 200ft player also. It is not easy to compare players who play on different leagues but Frondell is doing that against men. Look how Dalibor Dvorsky did in his draft year there or David Pasternak.

Really not a big fan of drafting Hagens. Feel like he hasn't improved his stock much this year and he isn't a great fit. Frondell and Desnoyers have only increased their draft stock. Both look like the perfect complement to our current roster/prospects

That is where I am at in Hagens. Not really doing much to lift my skirt this year.

Poll was lost with the site crash. There was somewhere between 60-70 votes. Can’t figure out how to recreate the poll in the OP.

My recollection was that Hagens had a comfortable lead over Frondell, who led comfortably over Desnoyers. Hagens had the most first place votes, but also had some second and thirds. Frondell had some firsts, but mostly seconds and a few thirds. I don’t remember if Desnoyers had any first place votes, but he did have the majority of third place votes.

Where are you at now with your order with these three centers?

I’m going Frondell >/= Hagens > Desnoyers. My previous vote was Hagens > Frondell > Desnoyers, but I thought the gap between Hagens and Frondell was small.
