Yeah the lines need some changing.

Bring back berard too

Cuylle Chytil Laffy
Panarin Tro Berard
Best Bros and smith
You cannot spell Berard, without Bread (Panarin), so why NOT play them together? The possibilities would be endless. Kid could really explode playing alongside him.

In regard to "the best bros", already infinitetesmal amount of times they shoukld be split up. Mika shoots more without him. Period, end of saga.

Everyone is ragging on Mika, when it seems to me, that it's been Kreider affecting/infecting Mika's play. It just ain't working anymore.

Slot up Edstrom with Mika and Smith on 3rd line. Drop Kreider to 4th, maybe he'll learn how to be a complete player alongside Carrick. Writing would be on the wall, if it isn't already.

I have to disagree with the third line....as much as I hate to admit it, Mika has actually improved since separated from the Tip-In-Maestro.

Too much Panarin.
Yeah. Their one big idea is to speed into the zone, look dangerous, then sharply pull to a stop, let all the defenders pass by, then whip a pass to an unmarked trailer.

It used to work & it used to look good. But, like Mika's one-timer, it's not happening anymore.

Just saw the Rempe fight. That was pathetic. He can't fight. He can't throw a big hit without getting a game misconduct. I really don't see any reason for him to be in the lineup.
Heh ... he's our answer to Tommy Wilson ... except he's not good at hockey ... and he can't fight.

Rangers gonna Ranger.

I'm not a Rangers fan, but Quick was awesome last night. Not sure how he's been for most of the year, but he made multiple fantastic saves. Really great performance, despite what the stats say.

Win or lose, that was a fun hockey game to watch. Wild chances, fast breaks, quick pace, gritty play... that was hockey like I remember as a kid.
Rangers fans have been blessed (or cursed) with great goaltending for the past 30 years and I think expectations have become wildly inflated at times because of it.

I thought Quick was great. One of the goals against was a bad pass / turnover right in the slot. Then the Rangers decide to go "run and gun" for a bit with a lead in the third period which doesn't make sense. The OT winner wasn't going to be saved by any goalie.

Every elite player makes mistakes. The problem for goalies is that mistakes end up in the back of the net so their impact tends to be magnified whereas a skater can often get away with it (especially forwards).

For a lot of people here, Quick and Igor will continue to get the blame because they think that these goalies should make up for the bad defense in front of them. The problem is, it's not that these people expect some saves that will keep them in it, but they expect our goalies to post shutouts game in and game out. Every goal is deemed a softie while common sense dictates that your goalies can't steal every, single, game. I mean, I can't comprehend thinking otherwise.

Rangers are 30th in SA/GP, and when you continue to get lit up in these games, common sense ALSO dictates that there are going to be more goals scored against you.

rempe needs fighting lessons if thats the enforcer he wants to be. check eye turned him inside out last night.
maybe he can practice on k andre miller as a punching bag

LOL, even when we were allowing sub 30 shots in the Colorado game and Igor alllowed a backbreaking goal to tie it and lost us a point you defended him. He can never do anything wrong for you.

LOL, even when he was making tough saves throughout the game, and Colorado gifted us 8 breakaways the team couldn't put the game away. Even after a dismal PP in OT and one more missed breakaway in OT and lost us a point, you still blamed Igor. This team in front of him can never do anything wrong for you.

Am I doing it right?

Rangers are hoping he turns into another Edstrom.
Edstrom does not like the compete /physical play factor . He takes the puck in the O zone and wings it around the boards every time rather then protecting the puck and absorbing some jostling along the boards and getting it deeper ...he uses the Kreider move instead and we lose possession ...watch him....he does it a LOT . If that is all he can do they may as well trade him to Vancouver in the deal for JT . We have to start moving the hens out of here and get a couple of roosters instead . Hockey is a physical game .That is what you need on a 4th line.....play the other team's D out.

Never Igor's fault, lol. You lose literally all credibility when you defend him every f***ing game. It's exhausting. Even I give him props usually when he has a good game, albeit lately with the caveat that he needs to continue that.

And the bold is exactly what my suspicion is. You f***ing hate this team so much so you defend Igor every game because if you ever blame the goalie this can't be the worst team in the history of the NHL.
