I want the Habs to do the same with Dobes as the Flames did with Wolf and let him simmer in the AHL for at least 2 years before he plays in The NHL on a regular basis

+ a good AHL playoff run this year would be great for player dev, I'd rather see Beck be 1C in AHL playoffs then play the end of the season on the 4th in MTL. Same with Engstrom, Mailloux, Tuch, etc

Outside of that brutal Penguins 3rd period, the team is playing better and better. Good news considering it's also the second youngest roster in the league.

I know people will never admit it, but Dvorak has been a really good 3rd line center lately. He may be vanilla, but he feeds his wingers well, gets chances and has been responsible without the puck.

I'm kind of wary of going with too many rookies next year, I think they should be careful about losing their bottom 6 centers.

For the love of all that’s good and right, please play Monty!
You know we won’t…..why have a back up if he doesn’t play? Don’t ask me why Primeau is our back up…..we have two better in Laval.

Maybe Dvorak should be playing on line 2. Clearly those guys need someone to feed pucks to the wingers.

Good game, the boys seemed motivated from the onset. They see "the mix" on the horizon and are going for it, that's good to see.

Maybe it's just the adrenaline from playing his first game for the Habs, but Carrier looked good, he will stabilize the D for sure.

4th line was great, the Dvo line too. It's crazy, the team finally has some respectable depth, but the top 6 not doing much 5 on 5.

Laine is a machine, not much else to say about that.

Hutson had a rough game in his zone but definitely made up for it in the Ozone.

Xhekaj has been so solid these past few weeks, that's also good to see.

Dach finally woke up after Evans took a shift in his spot. He was throwing his body around in the following shift. He needs to start doing that more and just simplify his game to open up the ice for Laine. Maybe that will give him some confidence.

Actually, both Dach and Slaf need to look at how Anderson his playing and just emulate him while adding their skill to his game.

We all know back to backs is this team kryptonite, but I think they're going on a lil streak. GHG!

I wouldn't take him off the vet line. All of them have a clear identity and the whole line plays its role right now. Gallagher has always been very good defensively (though he did one rare mistake/turnover tonight) and Anderson wrecks havoc on the forecheck, he can be F1 without having to worry about nobody covering him. He also cycles, which Gallagher loves to do too. The rest of the team just don't play a game that fits.

The carrier trade was sneaky good..with laine Habs have a ridiculous PP. it will depend how consistent Dikembe is, but I suspect we’re not getting a top 5 pick. If Dach doesn’t figure it out, they’ll have to get creative.
With Demidov and Laine next year plus slaf, Cole and Suzuki, Habs suddenly have a lethal group

Okay.... can we show Emil a little love? I like that guy. Show me some Heiny!!

He's an excellent player. Exactly the type of middle 6 player the team has always lacked. Just a simple north-south, physical game, but with very good IQ without the puck (both offensively and defensively). Having him and Anderson on two different lines must be very annoying for the opposing defense.
