I must be the only one who doesn't hate Hutson and Matheson together. (Atleast for now) The mistakes were more on Hutson tonight, but that can be expected, and I'd rather we keep Guhle on his natural side.

Looks like Primeau is starting tomorrow
Skipped the game for Christmas wrapping....Eggnog....and a little Christmas movie. Caught the highlights. I see a couple give aways by Hutson. To be expected. Beauty play to draw the penalty though and then the assist to Patty. Lucky deflection on that goal...but goals scorers are gonna score.

Solid game by Carrier. He's a good addition to the blueline.
Montembeault was strong. We'll see if he plays back-to-back, I guess.
Hutson struggled tonight. He had a few bad giveaways, but that's going to happen. He's still learning the league & players.
Laine blasted that puck right through Seider's shaft. He's really strong on the boards, too. Upgrading Newhook with Demidov on that line ....
Caufield on a 4 game point streak.
Congratulations to Evans on his 300th NHL game. He had a terrific night.
Nice win.
That chance for compher late in the game.... prime position and it felt like he was sitting there forever.
I mean the defense was in the area and I have no idea how they didn't pick him up. It was maddening to watch and a free goal if not for Monty.

First line had some good chances. Suzuki didn’t look as good as he was the last few games, didn’t have jump in his steps.

The Habs are 9-7-1 in the last 17 games and we just added Laine and Carrier.
Never know......need to fix that 2nd goalie thing though

Yeah, Primeau needs to be upgraded on. Let's also hope the recent signs of Dach's skating coming back are positive. He had some good shifts for once tonight.

tbh they did not really commit to the rebuild they tried to win after Seider and Raymond but 2 players aint enough.
Pretty sure Matheson wont be here after the TDL 2026.

If you play Primeau tomorrow it is a 100% setting him up for failure. I hope Marty doesn't do that to him.
