lol some posters were complaining that Detroit was out of their rebuild faster than the Habs after 6 games. As if Larkin and Debrincat were going to score 160 points each. The team is garbage.
Yeah, they had a hot streak to start.

Debrincat had 9 goals in his first 7 games, none his last 7.

So that's 3 PP goals if you include the offside one

Crazy

One thing I learned about this game. Detroit is really not "out of their rebuild". They play just as bad as the Habs despite their "core" players being older.

Development. For the same reason why Slaf played like 2 minutes tonight.
He played over 13 minutes, the TOI he usually gets when there is a lots of PK and 4v4. The 3rd line was benched well before Slaf was and then Evans took Slaf's spot on Dvorak line for that line last two shifts for some reasons...

Thought Suzuki played a great game. Matheson after some atrocious performances had himself a strong game too.

Solid win by Primeau.

Didn't think Caufield played all that great, but he's the OT man. Awesome shot to end it.
Suzuki was awesome with not much support. He's far more effective when he has to be the man without deferring to Caufield all the time.

They failed the rebuild by losing the lottery every single bottom three finish they had. Now they're just a couple good young guys and a bunch of aging vets. Almost no drafted guys in their lineup
