+ Heineman is growing well. Slaf seems to get going. Love Evans. Gally/Anderson are expensive but play well for their role. X is getting to a maturity level that we all wanted to see. 'What a fn shot' Laine is shaking the rust fine. CC is more than a shooter but man he's small. Hutson is probably making a lot of players dizzy. Imagine having that in a 6' frame... woah... Carrier is as good as advertised, great complement to Guhle who can now play on his side and it shows.

Dvorak, Armia, Savard are showing good value for tdl.

Dach/Newhook, something has to happen here, it's not helping Laine...

These 2 last games were fun to watch!
Although NEWHOOK was flying tonight making great moves in on goal. Just can’t buy a goal, but the effort is there. I don’t see that with DACH….yet.

I don't think he needs Suzuki. He had great chemistry with Jenner in Columbus, they were twins. His problem is skating now. What is normal. I think he should be ideal in the end of January.

To Dach. His injury was enough serious, be patient. This line will be good, although I hope not against us. :D
You already know you're going down.

Same to you and yours H10H.

Haven't seen you around here in so long I thought for sure your wife had grounded you and wouldn't let you post on HF. :)
Seriously dude, where have you been? We have missed your presence here.
Thanks guys. I lost my Mom in September. So I've kinda been in a funk for the last couple of months. But I missed my Habs family. So I decided to come back. Sadly, you'll all see me much more in the new year. ;)

I feel like four is happening Buddy I mean good things happen after you end a 14 game losing streak in B2B affairs.
Happy Holidays!
Damn, if they win 4. I may have to sacrifice a Leafs fan. While wearing their Leafs jersey. ;)

Same to you! :)

I don't care who we are playing. If we continue playing like this we will be entertaining.

This is drifting even farther from what I said. My critic, if we can call it that, was clearly directed towards the kind of games the Wings/Sabres played which doesn't yield "interesting hockey" (Teams just going through the motion will do that). This isn't related to the Habs ability to be entertaining (or not).

Sorry to hear man. I hope you're getting back to normal. 😥

Nothing like few Habs loses and reading this place can't do to bring life back to normal.

My condolences. -But at least you lost her as an old geezer.-:sarcasm: Had a lifetime to see her. Lost mine when i turned 40. Way too young. Wish she was still here.

I am unsure how to see the powerplay because I was at the game for the first time in years, swing the overall play with Patty open on the other side is not always shown well on tv but the 3rd period PP was pure entertainment, no goal but so much fun!
Also the penalty kill play when we held to the puck over a minute was making everyone laugh at the wings, damn Evan is good at the hockey game 200ft player.
Yeah a full two minutes in control is a rare happening.
We had a couple of really good ones towards the end of last season but the odds go down dramatically when Matheson is your QB.
Adding Slaf made a big difference last year and now with Hutson and Laine out there our left side can no longer be attacked.
Teams would constantly press Caufield and Matheson to break us down on that left side and they can no longer do that.

So very sorry to read this. Condolences to you and your family.

I haven't been posting much this season either but it's great seeing you back posting again. Take care.

Btw, for them (#92 and #77), Detroit is like Florida at its best shape for a health player. They need time.
Agreed, I'm hoping to see a fully recovered Dach and Laine terrorizing people. I don't like Newhook with those guys though, never been a fan of his.

Looking forward to Demidov on that line!

Decent game from the parts that i saw. Crazy how much difference one more shooter on the PP makes.

Cant believe Detroit is as bad as they are for this long. Just like Buffalo, cant ever take another step

Just another cautionary tale of a rebuild team

Are we so certain Demidov will make the team right off the bat, AND will be able to handle second line center duties? I think Hughes needs to pay up and get that second line C.

Happy Holidays people. I am finally coming off my 2 months of 14 hour days. The PC game I was looking to play during my 5 days off is broke, my wife had security called on her by this fly by night scam shoe place at the mall(NO returns WTF is that about?) My grandkids wrote all over my 60 inch hockey TV, oh and the walls, the couch the floor, the other kid painted the entire bathroom with blue from the toilet, and the third broke 2 ceramic snowmen... BUT at least the habs gave me something to be happy about despite missing the game.

Have a good one!

It's much more than just one shooter. It's also a strong board guy on that left wall and a real QB.

My condolences to you and your family sir. We never know what our fellow members are going through. It will be great to have you back in this exciting and depressing madhouse. Cheers to you and Merry Christmas.

Sorry to hear. 22 for me, never hurts less but you get better at dealing with it. Met my wife not long after, just wish they could have had some overlap.
