We’ll lose a lot and often for the rest of the season.
We won’t have much to celebrate the rest of the way .

But beating the leafs is always great .

Jesus the leafs are softies . They won’t ever win anything with that core. They have no one to push physically when it’s time.

Haven't read any Leaf fans reaction to this game yet but I'd imagine there is a lot of whining and crying about something or other and that the NHL and the refs hate them. Boohoo.

Here's your bottle you bunch of babies. :)

They have a thread on page 1 of their board as to why it seems Sportsnet is always against them. That's right, the well known anti-Leaf network known as Sportsnet.

LOL
Let's just say that Marty is not the best at metaphors.
Sounds like they’re building a train that is already functional and in service.

So that explains Marty’s “game within the game.” :sarcasm:

We should trade Anderson to the laughsss for a big overpayment . Speed and seize in what they miss .

So let’s take and run on their picks ; and only Anderson won’t be enough to change their style and destiny.

so what I miss?

Dach running over Samsonov on multiple occasions and Leafs doing nothing about it.

RHP scoring a young-Gallagher type goal.

Montembeault stoning Leafs in 3rd after giving up 2 quick ones in 1st.

Montreal dominating physically in 2nd period as they came back from 0-2 to tie it. Out shot Leafs 19-8. Matthews got reversed hit behind the net by Matheson. Nylander got slammed down by Belzile.

4th line of Pezzetta-Belzile-RHP was terrific. Best 4th line of season.

Anderson scored against Leafs, and played a power horse type of game. He loves beating the Leafs.

Pitlick scored in OT off a great pass by Hoffman, who spent the majority of the game missing on all his passes. His 1st good pass led to game winning goal. Pitlick looked like last year's Pitlick - in other words, he was good.

Leafs were soft, and they were running around in their own zone. They're going out in 5 or 6 games, 1st round of playoffs again. Super soft D & forwards.

We won 3-2 in OT. Everyone we needed to win tonight lost.

Ok, at first I was mad for the 2 pts, but then I thought about all the respect the Leafs got last year and that made me feel better.

Dach show tonight that he have so much offensive upside, only 29 pts in 47 games that don"t show his actual play. He play better than 29 points... he should have 35 pts and more this year. Im a big fan of him!!

He has been better as the season has gone on, despite the lack of production. Love this guy, hope his strong play will translate to increased production.

I like what I am seeing from Dach right now, he is playing a physical game and if he continues to do so, he is going to be a very good player for us. I was wrong about him earlier this season but he didn't look like he does now.

Monty/Kelly Clarkson is playing very well, he is certainly better than Allen.
It's confidence. Dach played well all season but now he's playing with an edge and new confidence in using his body more.

Xhekaj only played 12 minutes.

Suzuki got the most ice time at 25+ minutes which is nuts for a forward, but he also played his best game in awhile.

Matheson-Savard led the D with 23 minutes each.
Edmundson-Barron got 15 minutes
Then Xhekaj 12 minutes
Harris 11 minutes
Kovacevic 10 minutes

Yes maybe we win the lottery but the tankers like Chicago, Arizona, Columbus and Anaheim are horrible on another level.
No way we can out tank them. Columbus and Anaheim are particularly terrible. I'll be surprised if Columbus can put together back to back wins to end the year.

Our best hope is for a lottery win because no way can we out tank those teams
