MT's version of in game adjustments is moving Weise from the 4th line to the top line with DD and Pac so I wouldn't count of anything different from what we've see all game.

Congrats on your SHUTOUT Anderson.

Honestly, I wouldn't even have an issue with that. At least Weise does something on that line, albeit in short bursts.

I predict Galchenyuk with a nice effort to tie this up early. He's so close to putting it together...

Eventually the puck is gonna go in. Pacioretty is lazy out there. His shots are average. Plays with the tip of the stick. Smith-Pelly and Gallagher are getting it done.

We are dominating the hockey play. Let's win this.

its because he is tall and only takes 3-4 strides to get to the net, unlike Gally who needs 30.

Pretty disappointed with the team in this game. Everybody knew the Sens would have a lot of jump. The Habs tried to slow things down every chance they got instead of matching the tempo.

Apart from a good first PP, they've largely been keeping shots peripherally. Nobody in front of the net most of the time and very few second chances (i.e. rebounds) which is the key difference between Anderson and Hammond.

Don't know why the team always has such a hard time scoring on Anderson. Don't see him doing anything radically different from other goaltenders, but there we are. Very few goals against him. Puzzling, really.

If we'd have a coach who could adapt.....I would have no problem with that. But he's clearly not that type of guy. Better hope that DA SYSTEM works in the 3rd. And if not, it has to work on game 4. 'Cause if that series is 2-2....it will not be looking good.

Let's say habs lose tonight. Sens won't be able to come out like they did tonight in game 4.

This is where we'd wish we would have drafted Kreider instead of Leblanc....I want Hammond back....:sarcasm:

I'd bump Gallagher to the top line, DSP to the second, maybe he can open some space for Chucky and Pleks who have done next to nothing offensively all series.

Egg
Patches - Pleks - DSP
DD - JDR - Weise
Prust - Mitchell - Flynn

Play the top 2 lines high volume, bottom 2 focused on short shifts & physicality.

It's win time, MT has got to stop coaching like a fan

Our PP woes need to be addressed next season. We can't continue like this... It's an enormous detriment to the team, especially in the playoffs.

Everyone knew going into this game that is was a must win effort for Ottawa...After 2 periods, we are only trailing by a goal, could be 1-1 or more if we had buried a few chances.
Habs just have to execute more. We are in pretty good shape.

It wouldn't take much... just scramble the lines, make some changes on the PP. But Therrien is just so ****ing stubbon. It's like playing with one hand tied behind your back. We handicap ourselves for no freaking reason.

Doesn't matter though, we're the better team and we're going to take this series.
