Yup, sucks that penalty happened, it's going to mask what was a solid game for him.
Even if you ignore the dumb penalty, did he do anything offensively that was encouraging? He was still horrible on the powerplay. Really poor passing and decision-making. A couple hits doesn't change that.

Hughes two "prized" trades were, as usual, two worst players on the ice. Dach and Barron. Dach cost Habs the game. Yeah yeah... refs were brutal, but Habs had their chances on PP in the first and did SFA!

I hate so much about this team.

This one hurts…nothing is going our way ever, it’s depressing.

I’m giving a big middle finger to the refs & hockey gods
It's been the same for many years, referees are always punishing MTL at the worst moment and we never get PP unless the game is out of reach.

Ottawa are getting the same treatment from the NHL.

He had a couple great chances around the net and was skating better than his has in awhile, plus was much more physically engaged.

The City
Cole and Nick looked good today. They deserved those points.

Nick was doing so many of the small things right in this game. What's still kinda frustrating is that he softballs his passes now and then and it gets his teammates in trouble. That goal he scored started when he flubbed a pass on the boards to Hutson far too slowly, which is why he got cornered by two rangers. Overall still a very captainish game from Suzi. Great to see.

what are you watching? He connected on all his passes on the PP. Couldn't make many because no one was open except the other point man. He went low to the net at least once and moved probably more than the other players on the ice.

People are still finding excuses for Dach? Man oh man oh boy oh man.
hes the new take people will take to the grave.. he was an interesting gamble when we picked him up. Sucks he had a major injury, but he has not bounced back as professional. It would take a massive turn around for him to be part of the plans for the future at this point

Right. 20 games in and has to get comfortable that he won't get hurt.

I am f***ing sick and tired of MSL's stupid shit about giving losers like Dach chances to find their game by breaking up lines that work. Anderson, Dvo, Gallagher was a solid line and now it's nothing. Armia, Heineman Evans was a good line and not it's nothing. All because MSL tries to get Dach going. Sit him in a f***ing press box and let him find his game some other day. Habs deserved a win today and they would have at lease walked away with a point if t were for Dach.

what are you watching?
The Habs vs Rangers game they played. You clearly were watching a different game if you think he "connected on all his passes". There were three guys on the blue line while he was in the corner and he missed all three of them which gave the Rangers a free change while they were on the PK.

Hopefully Laine can help us have a second dangerous line.

Nice to see Suzuki, Caufield, Hutson, and Matheson playing well offensively together.
