I feel like getting a Josh Anderson jersey after today's game.

And I'm no fan of his overall game.

I am sure it was discussed to no end earlier but why in the world was Barron playing over Struble? Is Strubs injured?

Glad I missed the game
Sounds frustrating
Sure was. First time in a long time I'm really angry after a loss. Stupid penalty by Dach, late period goals and the worst officiating I have seen in quite a long time.

It would have not been frustrating if that overall we didn't play a good but we did and deserved a better result.

Does MSL have the worst win % ratio in the history of this club?

Maybe, but when you trade all your vets with trade value and try to get high draft picks (Slaf, Reinbacher, Demidov), you're not looking for a coach that's going to have a win percentage during the tank years. Whatever else you want in a coach, that's not it.

Hughes even came out last year and said he's talked with MSL about how wins aren't helpful at this point.

lots of positives, lots of resilience, and some terrible reffing.

this one stings.
Well... sure. another way to look at it is that you're playing a tired team and you let them have a 3-1 lead until mid third period. So once again... not able to shut the opposition down and having to play catch up hockey. Kudos for tying and all but you gotta start taking controls of the games from start to finish.

I hate calling out officials. But this time it was one of the worst officiated games I've seen.

Blatant interference on Anderson not called.
Gets the soft penalty later they score on.
Somehow being down a man after Quick punched Dach.
Armia blatantly tripped on the GWG after you know you've botched the 2nd period calls.

Not to mention blowing the play dead on a Rangers penalty when we had the puck.

He looked like someone who didn't play Defense his entire life. I don't know what he was thinking trying to cover the inside of the ice with his stick, but that was dumb. He needs some counseling, and then he needs to move to forward wing. He's not a dman.

Could be worth a try, honestly.

I remember I thought the same with Souray, back in the days (in his case, he managed to make it work in his own zone). A bit like Burns, Byfuglien and Streit, could be worth a try, I think he's stifling his natural instincts (offense) to get better in his own zone, you can he wants to jump offensively at times but more often than not reins himself, I'm just not sure that will help him in any ways.

Not sure who we'd sit, though Dach could be deserving for a game or 2... as long as it's not Heineman.

No injury annoucement and MSL wasn't going to suit Struble when he benched in the 3rd period against the Jackets for being bad

Reffing was terrible no doubt. However, the key difference is that Habs didn't capitalize on their PP chances earlier in the game and Rags did. f*** the refs big time. POS all of them! Mtl deserved better tonight.

Sorry Marty, enough with the philosophy and read between the lines crap

Say it and say it clear about the refs

Is there anyone who needs to be told what he was actually saying?

"I'm just here (calling out the refs like this) so I don't get fined.
Any question you ask me, the answe will be the same: I'm just here (calling out the refs like this) so I don't get fined."
