The kings are not that good, they couldn't score a goal for their life at the beginning of the season. I'm looking forward to the rematch it will be a different story.

9-0-1 record kinda means nothing right now if we cant beat a west team.

We are just under .500 against the west right now. The mighty Ottawa is 1 and 10 against the west.

But yeah, the west is clearly better than the east right now to an absurd degree.

It still doesn't erase our good record the past 10 games though, it's only one game. But it really highlights what we'll need to work on via trade. We're a better team than we've shown tonight but obviously not as good as our record of the past few weeks indicates.

Bergevin... Is the definition of character is watching your midgets get embarrassed by a good team at home... Just wondering

Funny, I thought 19-7-4 was a pretty good record....

Welp, I'm going to lie down, this game is done. I hope we score at least one goal.

Good night!

Not a huge gorges fan, but at least he was breaking even with Diaz on his right. With Emelin they've been bleeding chances.

Well, as much as nobody wants to hear it, Diaz is a better option than Emelin there right now, because Emelin has been brutal.

But Gorges being the 3rd best defender on this team is very problematic in itself.

Something to consider the Habs are 26th in the league in hits. And against a team like the Kings, you need physicality. Remember not too long ago, guys like Subban and Emelin were told to stop the open ice hits cause it derailed the team structure so now they pretty much only do it along the boards. I think if teams would knew they could get hit once they would try getting into the Habs's zone, they would think twice before they would enter it. I feel like teams enter the Habs' zone too easy.
