Wow the habs suck tonight, they need to bounce back next game or it's gonne be hard. A "supposed to be" top tier team cannot lose 5-0.

This will get me flamed since Emelin hits hard, and I really like the way he plays the game but... I'm not feeling very good about that contract right now.

He missed a lot of time and still has that excuse..but he's been a poor decision maker since his first year. I'm not entirely sure he's a legitimate 2nd pairing defenseman.

Playing with Gorges hasn't helped though.

Not a huge gorges fan, but at least he was breaking even with Diaz on his right. With Emelin they've been bleeding chances.

Bad contract but Habs fans will learn the hard way. I like the guy but 4M+?:laugh::laugh:

Good thing we play in the east, right?

Can we go back to poutine and smoked meat discussion? Was more fun.

I think we could easily get beaten by an inferior team, though. Until we address the size/nastiness, we will have many early exits in the playoffs. We don't have high end talent like Chicago, so if we don't have size and physicality either....we don't have a chance in hell.

We can beat a superior team too, but that doesn't make the odds of either happening. But the fear of the Sens of all team is getting kind of sad, everything that could go wrong did go wrong last year, that doesn't make 5 games representative of anything.

There's still plenty of things wrong with this team. Having both Briere and Desharnais in the top 9 makes matching up more of a headache than it should be, and our bottom 4 D is below average. Offensively a power forward type would be huge, yes.

It's in games like these that you just cannot help but hate small players like Desharnais,Gionta and Bouillon,
