He was in juniors back in Finland tho, was drafted for his offensive skills as well. Dude just reinvented his game and became a 3rd or 4th liner to play in the NHL, love stories like that.

I honestly think trading Dvorak and Armia away will actually improve the team. I could see two of Beck, Mesar, Roy, Tuch, Davidson joining the team after TDL in replacement of those two and making the team better.

Laine looks even better in 92 than 29. He sure has some swagger. Pretty slow but that's to be expected. I really hope we get to see a PP with him tonight. He needs to score and I have a feeling this team needs it and will get a boost if they see him bury one of his accurate one timers.

If Laine can stay healthy and Dach back like he did before, with Slaf next year, that's looking like a very good 2nd line with Demidov - Suzuki - Caufield as a 1st. Heineman and Newhook on 3rd line.
