Using DD as your #1 center all season and then expecting other guys to just step in in the playoffs was a dumb thought by Therrien. The entire fan base knew DD and PAtch wouldn't work come April. But no, Therrien ignored what everyone knew to be true. Chucky hasn't been good but this is far from his fault. Put your young players in a position to succeed.

Don't worry guys. Therrien has got that one. Puck at da net, get da rebounds. Replaying all the reels of Gionta last year. To da net. WE ARE GRINDERS GRRRRRRRR.

Stop playing him on the wing and stop forcing him to play a defensive system. Those are the problems.

It's not a defensive system making him always out of sync, no finish, bad passes, difficulty keeping it on his stick.

He's got a lot of talent, but there's a lot of things that need to come together before he's legit, and some may never happen.

Weise has been largely invisible these playoffs aside from his single two goal game. Eller proving once again he's the only one who deserves offensive minutes in the playoffs.

Weise has done more than enough these playoffs. He practically won an entire game himself (game 3 vs OTT). What else can you ask from a 4th liner?

Trade Plekanec for a winger.
Put Galchenyuk in his natural position.

Put the C on Gallagher or Subban.

Pacioretty is not a playoff performer.

Sadly patches has the most shots for the Habs. They've tried Galchenyuk at center and hes not ready yet - hes already ineffective in his current role

Looks like they were instructed to play the "season" system dump and chase right from the 1st period.

Not really sure why the coaching staff decided to try and play a conservative system tonight after having so much success in game 4 and 5 playing a more aggressive system...players don't seem to have bought in tonight. Back to the dumb stretch pass, chip in at the red line flat footed, no speed, no offense.

This loss would be easier to swallow if things were different.. but they're not and when this is all over.. I'm gonna throw a huge pity party in my bedroom. All are welcome.

Nah. You bought Van-Hab Theory that Sekac was treated like a God while the only thing we said was that we wanted him to get more chances. We wanted him to have a fair coach, you know a coach that LAUGHED at Eller and Sekac to explain why they haven't had a chance to go in a shootout when Therrien at the same time were sending guys that had just as much problems than they were.....and using the reason that shootouts could help them going. That's when you know that certain players aren't exactly getting the confidence they need to get things going. And should I make you remember that Sekac was at his first freakin NHL season. Anyway, what's done is done, and Sekac or no Sekac, DSP hasn't been the player we all hoped for PLAYOFFS INCLUDED.

I always though Sekac with Galchenyuk as his center and Patches on LW would have been something I would have tried for 10 games.

Of course in my world DD would be the water boy and PAP the towel boy.

MB has to try and get a player with top 6 skills.
DD has to be jettisoned
Pleks as well should be gone
Resign Petry
Buy our Parenteau
Find a back up who is competent
Play Galchenyuk at center...this has become ridiculous

if Therrien is still coaching next season, which he will, I don't know how I'll be able to watch this team as much next season. It's just been really boring hockey, and tonight is bringing that back. It's the same system from the regular season that made for ridiculously boring games.

You have so much baggage in this post it's funny.

One day, a beat reporter will tell who really was Sekac. On and OFF the ice. Then people will stop questionning the trade. Just maybe.
