Unpopular opinion over here, but we need guys like Edmundson. Big bodies like that have their value and while we don't want a team filled with them, this is a young team that needs to be well surrounded. There's no rush to trade him imo.
I doubt he has much value at the moment anyways, and I get that you can comfortably put Kova as the #7 D, but I don't think he's gonna stay here long anyways. The second someone offers a 1st for him at 50% retained he should get traded.

As a westcoaster, love watching MTL beat Vancouver. Even in down yrs, hoping for a high pick, i relish these wins

Top line has something cooking

The young D just does a blue collar job

Monty was solid when needed to be

Only thing you would like to see is the ability to shut it down when teams push late

He was always quite the hockey player if truth be told. The question was always going to be how his game would translate in the NHL. He put that question to rest when he displaced Domi in his rookie year and solidified it in the bubble with his first post season experience. It became simply a matter of surrounding him properly. We are well on our way to doing that.
Whatever Suzuki is lacking in foot speed (which was the initial reticence about him), he more than makes up for by processing intel at an elite level. And so far, he doesn't appear to be weighed down by that C on his jersey, either -- he keeps expressing his talent without restraint.

His foot speed is fine when he decides to go. Very Very deceptive player.

Just a great play by Cole! Love the little man.

On a previous shift, he out muscled Myers on a puck when he got underneath him. Myers had to hook him down. Bull shit non-call. 30 seconds later, Guhle gets called for a hold.

Fortunately, Canucks don't score on that PP.

I know he didn't touch the puck, but caufield created the turnover. That should be an apple.

I understand Gallagher has a terrible contract, but he was a joy to watch this game. And shout out to Kovacevic for his first point!
He is an embarrassment to the Habs, that interview was cringe worthy. I cannot stand to watch his antics, just mindless.

Have to admit, I laughed my ass off watching that.

OEL is face washing him & Gally is still punching Demko until Demko just tackles him & OEL and they all go down together.
When you watch the replay, there is an inexplicable tap by Dvorak on the top of OEL's helmet before he scampers away from the scene.
