That was Montembeault the whole game. In a small sample size in the 4 games before tonight he has a 2.47 gaa and a .928 sv%

Canucks played a good 10 minutes from the 5 minute mark to 15 minute mark of 3rd period, and that was it. No drive on that team whatsoever.

They made Dadonov look good!

Not a tough game for Montembeault, but he played well.

Drouin has zero hands. Back to back games where he's missed wide open nets. Tough to watch him, because he's always had pretty sweet hands. Not sure he's an NHLer next year.

Dach was opportunistic, that's for sure.

Great to see Dach, Suzuki, Caufield, Kovacevic & Xhekaj all pick up points in this one.

Suzuki is becoming quite the hockey player.

He was always quite the hockey player if truth be told. The question was always going to be how his game would translate in the NHL. He put that question to rest when he displaced Domi in his rookie year and solidified it in the bubble with his first post season experience. It became simply a matter of surrounding him properly. We are well on our way to doing that.

I think the biggest game changer this year is how improved the defense has been. Harris, Xhekaj and Guhle have added some much needed puck movement.

Defense has been very good surprisingly. Eddy is the worst guy right now but he's barely played anything. Hoping HuGo considers trading him soon as Matheson comes back.

This is good team.

Hoffman/Dvorak/Gallagher have chemistry. If we had two good offensive lines and they were our third line instead of second line Habs be Cup contender. Dvorak good on faceoffs and penalty kill, Gallagher kind of gritty. Hoffman adds speed and shot on the wing.

On a previous shift, he out muscled Myers on a puck when he got underneath him. Myers had to hook him down. Bull shit non-call. 30 seconds later, Guhle gets called for a hold.

Unpopular opinion over here, but we need guys like Edmundson. Big bodies like that have their value and while we don't want a team filled with them, this is a young team that needs to be well surrounded. There's no rush to trade him imo.
