Yeah, I thought the 2nd line had their moments in the 1st, last game too. Maybe they should try splitting Suzuki and Caufield like they did last year for a couple of games. I remember Caufield-Dvorak-Slaf for a couple of games before Slaf got on the first line, they did alright.

At this point I would try Newhook with Suzuki and CC.
I also would also recall Roy.

CC has 10 goals, NS has 13 pts. Choking, expecting them to carry 12-15 slugs every night is a little much.

This team is garbage past the first line and has one of the worst D cores in the league.

Goaltending is reverting to the mean, and Monahan was much more important to the team than most gave him credit for. Amongst other things.

Last year there were no expectations so players didn’t have much pressure knowing they aren’t expected to win much.

This year the expectations are higher and most players aren’t living up to what was expected.
