They should if they want to win when it matters. Not saying price is the total answer or the best fit but they need to upgrade the goaltending if they want a legit chance..its really that simple

Upgrade goaltending totally agree, Price is not the solution especially with that contract

Want a first and only player that could get you a first is Chariot. The problem is the guy running the show is the guy who thought Howden was a top line Centre and Libor Hajek was a top pair Dman. Looks like few buyout candidates which is a Gorton special

You sure about that? 34 year old defenseman, not exactly known for his defensive play, with 2 assists on the year and signed 3 more years @ $6.25. I have my doubts.

I’m sure. He has had a pretty bad season but he was amazing last year. It was a short off season with the long playoff run. I would bet money that he has been playing hurt this year. Players games don’t drop that far off in only a matter of months. Last year he was pencilled in on many people’s lists for Team USA at the Olympics.

idk what you saw but Weber was a monster for us in the playoffs and he was playing on one leg

I 100% believe that 1st round ship has sailed, especially since Petry’s value is at its lowest being injured or just plain worn down being a 34 old defenseman playing above 23 minutes a night.

He’s officially made the team now. Probably going to end up a solid 3rd line center for us down the road. Not sure why he would be available though
