As usual, very good job on the GDT Moroccan! :handclap: Well done!

How great would a 4th win be, going into the home opener 4-0? Awesome!

GO HABS GO!

Pens look weak. Not sure how they get past Price in this one. Habs win 4-1.

Not like the GDT is wrong. Remember the role Darche was given here after being an AHLer for 20 years. Bouillon's last year with us. Constantly signing washed up players like Audette, Briere, Savard(to a lesser extent, but we trade Chris ****ing Chelios for him), Juneau, etc after most of them had snubbed us for years. Vinny would have been here too if he were willing to take less term than Philly offered him.

Except the media thing. Quebec media will turn on ANYONE if we're losing. Just look at Brisebois.

I wish they will have no PP, same for us. Likewise, I'll be yelling and cursing less.

With regards.... S Savard almost certainly had the order to get rid of Chelios. He'd have traded him for a catfish fillet if he had no serious offer. I don't think I need to explain why...

I gotta say as bad as DD was utilized last year, I actually really like him on the 3rd line.

His PP time is swapped between him and Eller which is fine. I don't mind them splitting PP duty since we need to try everything.

Bergevin isn't hated at all. Maybe one or two posters.

No he isn't...
But he is sitting on a couple of time-bombs.
His ability to handle our next step towards a championship is crucial.
I wish him luck because he'll have to fight a contrary wind IMO.

I like him better on a 3rd line but I don't see this improving our chances in the post season.
Everything gets magnified in the playoffs and unfortunately Davey has problems fighting through his checks. Who knows? I could see him ending up like Briere centering a fourth line which provided some very timely scoring two years ago in the playoffs.

I've always said we will never win a cup with DD on the roster and MT as coach.
I've revised my position on Davey and could actually see us winning with DD on a 4th but nothing has convinced me that MT is the answer behind the bench.

So if MB was ever to consider a move in this direction it would indeed be facing contrary winds wouldn't you say?

Another day, another game I won't be able to watch due to having two jobs... *Sigh*, adulting sucks.

That aside, I've been hitting the jackpot lately with Youtube streams, and having my work's wifi password does wonders! So hopefully, if I do end up being able to watch any tonight, they won't disappoint. 3-0 against 3 of our rivals is a great start to the season, shutting down the firepower of the penguins would go a long way. Crosby hasn't even had a shot (I believe) in his last 3 games, and he ALWAYS scores against us, so I predict a 4-2 Habs final.

Really hoping we can get a proper powerplay going today. It seems like it's even worst than last year.
