just a quick reflection. I've been kind of in shock since game 7 VS Toronto. Spending a bit of time ghosting their board reading all the trauma.
Imagine how bad we were in games 2 through 4 vs leafs--then for the first time in NHL history a team blows 2 goal leads TWICE in the 3rd, only
to win in OT. No wonder Toronto was f***ed by game 7. Then we went on this insane run where habs are 8-2...11-2 if you go back a bit

Nah. He'd have needed a Giguere-esque performance for that. He was amazing but wasn't the sole reason Montreal made it. The team played well.

He isnt the sole reason but he is the NUMERO UN reason they got this far. He stole three series now.

Think we match up well against both teams. Habs are gelling and playing like a z5 man unit, I actually think NYI might be a tougher matchup for our style.

Personally I think NYI are the same team, but with less depth and top end talent.

However, that 4th line does scare me. Goaltending and defense tho, not close.
