So far this year;

Heinman - 6 goals
Slafkovsky - 2 goals
Dach - 1 goal

Edit: Only three Habs have more goals than Heineman this year; Caufield 16, Suzuki 9, Gallagher 8.
Heineman looks like he did two years ago when he first landed in Laval.
Same sweet spot for his shots.

Primeau should be waived. There's so many shitty goalies in this league right now I can't say for sure he clears, but I'd do it anyway.

The next back-to-back is a Detroit home & away series December 20th & 21st. Let Dobes have the away game.

We have 5 back-to-backs post Christmas to the 4 Nations break in February. Depending on how Dobes does in his 1st game, we can let him & Hughes split those games. Might as well try them, we're losing these games big time with Primeau in net anyway.

Of course only running Montembeault except on a back-to-back means Monty is playing 66 games this year.

Caufield is looking good, and I love Heineman's game. He really should get a look in the top 6. What a shot.

Roy should be in Laval & Dach needs to sit. Pezzetta should play. At least he puts in an effort & hits people.

I f***ing hate the Bruins.

Slaf, Dach, and Newhook were suppose to be building blocks for this Habs rebuild and thus far this season they haven't really been looking all that great but still lots of hockey left yet this season so we'll see how it goes the rest of the way. Heineman has been a very pleasant surprise though.

The most concerning thing this season to me is lack of progression

CC and Suzuki are generally consistent though i find Suzuki not as good overall this yr. Not a knock on him though

Dach just isnt getting better. Slaf is hit or miss. Newhook is a scoring Drouin. Just a figure skater but doesnt do anything well enough to cover his warts. Struble has been just ok, Barron has further regressed. Primo isnt even ECHO level

While guys like Gally and Anderson have rebounded, they arent the guys you really care about for the future either

All that said, a guy like Slaf looked lost for the first quarter last yr too and but found a groove so there is time

They need to put Slaf with NS and CC and leave him there. He is more important than Dach. MSL had to tinker with the first line to get Dung going at the expense of Slaf.

Can someone remind me which team has the lowest scoring average in the NHL and how many goals per game they score?

The best ingredients of the "rebuild" are still the pieces acquired before the "rebuild" started.

Not a good look for the current administration.

The lack of vet accountability is becoming a much too common theme with this coaching staff though

Matheson literally cant do a thing wrong

Imagine if Jackeye was -4. He would be thrown under the bus in the media, benched and healthy scratched

The only ones ever punished are under 22. Dach only recently saw his ice decline but still gets first PP time every time. Savard gets walked all game and Armias only redeeming quality is good Pk work and other than that, useless

They clearly need some reliable rhd to stabilize the d corps. Get ride of Matheson and Savard and bring 2 rhd for next year

Guhle - xxxxx
Hutson - xxxx
Xhekaj - Reinbacher or everyone who can step in

Habs have some good pieces, some are on the way and possibly a top 3 pick next draft.

So glad we didn't draft the Russian sniper, we can rebuild with the stay at home D approach. Maybe we can not pick Hagens , Portone or Misa if another Turdbacher is there?

I also think Slaf needs to be with Caufield and Suzuki but Dach has nothing to do with it. Slaf plays with Dvorak and Gally at the moment while Dach is with Roy and Anderson it’s Newhook who is on the top line.

The moved Slaf initially to put Dach there. Leave the first line alone!
