Great effort by Habs, they deserved the 2 points tonight. Suzuki was sick.
It was a pain to watch Gally tho.
Back then, we used to see him shoot from the corner, then skate back to the bench. Now, it’s fall in the corner and skate back to the bench…

The best game they've played in a long time. They absolutely dominated Vegas in 3rd period. Probably deserved a regulation win, but Montreal doesn't have enough offense to bury teams.

Fantastic games by Suzuki, Caufield & Guhle. Strong games by RHP, Montembeault & Armia.

We've gotten points this year where we probably shouldn't have, so tonight's not a big deal. Great game to watch. Fun OT.

Great game, team can be proud. Second line is clearly not working. Slaf need someone to hold the puck and open the play like Dach did, Anderson is frustrating to watch. Monty amazing. Caufield is nothing special in shootouts, he doesn't really have the dekes. We'd be bottom of the standings if not for Monahan. I'm starting to hope we keep him long term if we can't get anything better.

great compete on this team. Couple of quick observations.

-I'm with most of you, send slafkovsky down. I assume they think if they do, he'll be crushed, but if he has any perspective, he'll know it's right thing to do. He looks lost out there. Dumb decision after dumb decision.
-Kovacevic, who's been good most of the year has been absolutely shit of late. Baffling plays. Later in game he whiffs on a shot from O blue line, tracks puck back and loses it in the D-zone with all the time in the world.
-Caufield completely ineffective against a big team that collapses down low. He's good when he gets involved physically and retrieves puck in slot. They should stop playing him on the circle and play him on the point on the PP.
And stop giving him a top 3 spot in SO. unless he comes in with speed and uses his release, he's shit. This slow approach towards the goalie doesn't help his release.

great team effort

Honestly it was a gutsy performance.
We played many games in the last week or so, we just played 2 days ago 2 thousands miles away from Vegas and still mostly dominated this game.

Moneyhands was unreal in the faceoff circle.

Only negatives are the same as usual. The PP and the fact that only Suzuki seems to be able to score on the shootout

Habs played great.Best game of the year so far.If they keep playing like this, they will win a good number of games. Caufield is not a great choice in the shootout. He doesn't do well when he has too much time to think.More of a quick reaction/instinctive scorer.

When Newhook rang it off the iron again I used the line from that commercial on RDS "Namaste Siboire"
