There was one point on the pp where Laine was standing still at the blue line and literally doing absolutely nothing but watching. Not a single muscle twitch, just his eyeballs following the play.

Another instance we're he skated 20 feet to get into position and nothing else.

I said he only plays to get a cardio workout. I was wrong, he doesn't even put in the effort for one of those.

Might as well get a mat and do yoga poses in the middle of the ice..

Who are the twins?
The twin towers that sat behind the Jersey bench & uh motivated them to victory. They were so impressive that the TSN cameraman changed the angle of his camera so as not to offend the sensibilities of the moral majority.

All this on Family Day at the Bell Center! Maybe she was trying to attract a husband to start a family?

Ok I decided to turn it around for the team:

I will not eat anything until Habs score another goal.
- I ate 6.5 hours ago. Tomorrow's game starts in 18.5 hours. So at bare minimum thats 25 hours of not eating.

But WHEN the Habs score... And they WILL.. I will be eating anything and everything. My wife is making sausage soup tomorrow (siskonmakkarakeitto), so I will start with that. Then I move on to some cereal. Then some proteim bars. Then some apples. Then some lollipops dipped in popping candy powder. Finish it off with some chewing gum.

Was it a good idea to visualize all that in my head just before going to sleep while I was already starving. Definitely not. Is this "hunger strike for Habs" needed and worth it? Absolutely yes.

Tomorrow we will win. Tomorrow we will at least score one goal, so that I can eat.

Who is with me?? Lets #HungerStrike4Habs
Your tombstone will read: Here lies a man who loved his team perhaps too much

I doubt it, can’t imagine he has much value
I think our 1st alone will be close to Cozens value. But the Sabres want players now, hence why I included Dach.

But I'd be up for keeping Dach and getting Cozens if we could find a 3rd team that has a player Buffalo wants and who want our 1st. Our 1st is looking to be in the 4th to 7th overall range...

Well, glad I missed this one... debating if I should just delete the recording or actually watch it
Could just watch Beck's shifts. Also Newhook looking like a good bottom sixer.

He’s really really bad
Shouldn’t be playing

Call up some kid who wants to play hard for a spot and get rid of this joker

We only have 3 top 6 forwards

Not sure how to fix this without rebuilding another 3-4 years tbh
We will add Demidov but I would hope the weight of the world isn't put on his shoulders in year one.

The second line needs an upgrade, especially at center.

We need to replace Savard with a faster skating version.

If someone asks for Matheson in a trade we should do it.

So yes, I agree. This could take 2+ years before it gets consistently better.

How do you get that our pick is looking to be in the 4th to 7th OA?

Montreal might beat 3 more teams behind then as they play worse, but 4th OA, 5th OA and 6th OA seem a stretch to me.

IMI, before the lottery, Montreal might be as bad as 7th OA, but not worse, I don't think.

7th OA should get us Desnoyers or Bear. I'd lean towards Desnoyers because he has true top-6 upside, but I really think we need a physical pest like Bear who also has a high level of skill to make plays to and around the net.

Not a stretch at all. Anaheim at #6 is 3 points away with 2 games in hand. Seattle at #5 is 5 points away. Buffalo is 6 points away with 2 games in hand, and are riding a hot streak right now.

We're sinking for many reasons, mainly the Guhle and Heineman injuries. But it should get worse as we sell the likes of Evan's, Armia, Savard, and Dvo - maybe Matheson. Plus there may be more injuries.

But we'll see...

Given the team gets 2 weeks off after the TB game I really, really, really hope the Habs score at least one tomorrow.

Very favourable results in the East for us staying in the mix somehow. Is someone gonna make the playoffs with less than 90 points at this rate?
