The refs really seem to want to suck the joy out of the sport. At least the young guns are fun to watch and producing.

I don’t hate Newhook on the first line, his speed helps a lot it seems. Temporary of course, but it takes the pressure off of Dach and Slaf so they can regain shape/confidence.
Barron and Dach played some echl caliber hockey. They need to sit a bit
How can you criticize your players? They played to the best of their ability. That goes for Slafkovsky and Dach as well. Juraj is not a player who will lead his line, he is a complementary player. And on top of that, his center was Dvorak. That goes for Dach as well. From my experience in Columbus, I can say that Nyquist, who didn't play a full season in 2020/21, played about 30 games very poorly in the 2021/22 season. And he was an experienced player and didn't have knee problems. The pitching winger and leader of the line was Laine, he led it.
I forgot. Lane on the first PP wave for a second game in a row!
