This might have been mostly avoided if he didn’t take PP1 off after 50 seconds in the 1st period. It’s a 1-0 game and the team had no momentum. Spark them with their go-to offensive players, don’t insist on sending out your favourite veteran plugs.

I only watched the last 7 minutes but from the highlights he only looked real bad on the 4th goal. He made 41 saves tonight. At one point you gotta blame the D for conceding that many shots to the freaking Wings.

In the 7 minutes I watched I thought we lacked intensity and energy.

The shot count is really misleading man. They had like close to 15 shots in the first period, and the most dangerous one was Caufield's.

Hutson had a horrible game, it happens. Marty needs to use his timeouts I have no idea why he put the second PP unit on with about a minute left in the powerplay.

A lot of NCAA guys hit a bit of a wall early on in their NHL career, the season is half as long in college vs pro. The upcoming break will do LH good.

St Louis still has no clue or balls to make in game adjustments. After the first it was clear that team is playing like shit and that goalie isn't going to win you this one. So shake things up. Switch the goalie. It's not a knock on MOntanbo even though the second goal was beyond horrendous. Take Hutson off PP since he can't shoot and nobody else doing SFA. Like do f***ing something!

Bad game: Arbs, Savard, Laine, Newhook, Gallagher, Dvorak,
Horrendous game: Montanbo (i don't give a f*** how many great saves he makes if he can't make beer league ones), Hutson, Matheson, Slafkovsky, Suzuki, Caufield. Coach.

Team is treading in a bad direction again. Out of last 3 games, the team played 3 good periods. 1st vs leafs, 2nd and 3rd vs Tampa and none tonight. That's 30% of your game. Say bye-bye to WC chase if this continues for another 2-3 games.

Were there any details released about the traffic incident involving Heineman? The team is really missing him and Pezz being an inadequate replacement is hurting the team. I would like it if they called up another player to play with Evans and Armia.

2 losses in the last 3 and the win was a comeback game. I can see some bad habits creeping back in and there needs to be some serious corrections before a potential losing streak takes hold. Heineman is certainly missed as well.

Hilarious eh? The ice was tilted most of the game and Monty made several highlight reel saves. When a team gives up 44 shots and sleeps through most of the game, some of those shots against are going to leak in. I think some posters commenting also slept through the game.

We've actually won 2 of our last 3. In the first game of those last 3, we played great all 3 periods.
