I'm really starting to dislike our first line. We give up far too many easy goals against.

Barron must like Florida two decent games defensively in a row.

Matheson played the entire last PP, he was obviously spent but MSL can't help himself.
Hard to understand how you keep him on the ice when he's barely making it back to negate the icing, when you're tired like that you make poor decisions, and what do you know, he's rifling the puck into shinpads immediately afterwards. I do like the guy and love watching him skate, but his decision making is horrendous. 1st goal I think is entirely on him as he made a terrible late pinch that lead to an odd man rush, and despite his shot he just can't run a PP. He can't open up well enough to feed Slaf the puck at all which makes Slaf pretty much 0 threat and you can just leave him alone. I don't know that Hutson is ready by the end of this season but man, I can't wait to watch someone else at the point on the PP.

Well I guess I should go upstairs and be a good host. I just hope no one's puked in my indoor plants again this year.

I hope you all have a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Could have been the whiskey, might have been the gin.
Could have been three or four six-packs,
I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in,
My head is like a football, I think I'm gonna die,
Tell me, me oh me oh my,
Wasn't that a party?

Someone took a grapefruit and wore it like a hat,
I saw someone under my kitchen table, talking to my old tom cat,
They were talking about hockey and the cat was talkin' back,
Along about then everything went black,
But wasn't that a party?
I'm sure it's just my memory playin' tricks on me,
But I think I saw my buddy cuttin' down my neighbour's tree,

:)

Sadly I'm still sober, because that would usually be me. ;)

I don't get it, MSL needs to better manage his time for sure.

Some people are in love with his flowery skating...
I've never forgotten right after the Habs traded for him the Habs posted on one of their social media accounts a post with the caption "Guess who" and nothing else and this board was so happy thinking it might be another trade but it was only Matheson just saying hello to Hab fans.

Disappointed AF we all were that day. I've been mad at him and the Habs ever since then. :)

They’re the only line generating offense. They’re doing great, just enjoy.

They played the Canes, Panthers & Tampa. All top teams.

Problem is its our first line. If we had some of our injuries not injuries we have a little more depth and a chance to play those guys against lesser opposition more often. Regardless our forwards are lacking. When old man gally is still one of your better O and half your D is better than him...welp here we are.
