I just watched the game, Primeau really blew it with the late backbreaker. Totally killed momentum and ruined what had been a good comeback.

What a terrible f***ing trade when we were just making room for Justin Barron. Barron makes Beaulieu look like a Norris winner.

Barron's a young RHD on a team that lacks RHD. He can sit in the pressbox and be fine depth. Maybe he figures it out at 24-25.

The issue is hanging onto Matheson past his peak value to retain 5 LHD on a 7-man Dcore.
As soon as he gets dropped from PP1 he's going to be worthless. No one's trading anything for a 30 point, 30+ year old D who'll be -20 on the year yet again in a few months.

Gave up on this shit show after the second and went to do some laps in the pool. Saw a couple of nice moms in the hot tub after. That was nice.

I am so done with MSL. While his team is not a collection of super starts, they are NHLers for the most part. The fact that the team cannot make the simplest clearing plays, most basic set up, not mobile on PP or PK etc mean nobody knows where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to do. There is zero structure or system to their play. MSL had 3 years to figure SOMETHING out... he can't. He won't. How many more years we need to realize that? 10 like with Bergevin?
