Laine is disgusting though. As gutless as Drouin used to be, maybe worse. No more of these headcases. The moment he was benched, the whole second line looked better and Demidov started looking good. Addition by subtraction.

They looked good but still haven't scored jackshit. It's time for them to actually contribute to something than just looking good.

I don't mind Dvorak out there for the faceoff, but Gally was the headscratcher.

Anyways, dumb play by Savard which caused an own goal with zero pressure, and Newhook failed to cover his man on the 2nd one.

Washington despite being overwhelming favourites are so fortunate to have won either of these games. Very proud of this young team of ours. They just never quit, bodes very well for the future, we may not win this series, but it's far from over. Take game 3 and things look different.

The reffing is mickey mouse in this league. I can’t imagine nfl refs putting the whistle away in the playoffs.

It’s one thing to put away your whistle but there was some clear penalties. Cross check to the face, and the Caufield missed call? Just awful.
