That team on paper should not make the playoffs. Why in Monteral it's always about not trying hard enough or not caring enough and never the f***ing skills. It's never the f***ing skills ever. That team would need to give their 150% every games for 82 games to make it and nobody can do that. My apologies Pierre, you were right he's not NHL caliber. Fowler can't come soon enough. A proper #2 D also can't come soon enough to take over from Matheson. He definitely needs a reduced role.

The team had all that momentum going into New York and quite simply blew it.
That is the lesson for next year. It started with the wrong goaltending decision then and has been a struggle ever since that's 4 losses in a row. No depth no chance. Can I say how much I hated the desperation challenge that was always going to go against us and put this game out of reach.
