Getting a nhler 13th forward, a center to replace beck so he can play in the Ahl for playoffs, would have been an upgrade. Even if we had to spend a god damn 4th pick

Armia, Heineken, Caufield, Gallagher in front all had chances and either just missed or Wolfe made a solid save

For a team who's 13th forward is freakin Pezzetta. For a team who doesn't have a No7 dman. Whose farm team is No1 with ALSO not a lot of depth due to injuries.

But nope.....nada. Makes no sense. It's all good to keep Armia and Cie. Fine with me.....but if you do that for a REWARD to a team...you make sure than them staying make it possible for a reward.

Tough loss. Montreal had a terrible 1st period, but really picked it up in the 2nd half. We had chances particularly Caufield, but per usual we missed the net too much.

Like the rest of the team, Carrier struggled in 1st period, but really picked his game up. He had a great game.

Dobes had a great game. Nothing to blame him for here. He let in one goal.

We're a one line team still.

Beck was over matched in this kind of game at center, but he settled down when moved to wing. He got 11 minutes. Pezz less than 5.

I don't expect us to make the playoffs I think Ottawa & Columbus will get in, but the team is battling. Wolf saved their asses a few times.
