It looked like the game was going a bit fast for Slafkovsky, but I have no doubt he'll get used to the speed of the NHL.

Caufield is gonna have a big year, Hughes should extend him asap before his value gets to high hehe

Fun game. Enjoyed the kids. Really like our 2023 draft's 1st 3 picks (Slaf, Mesar, & Beck). With Engstrom & Hutson too, we might have had an epic draft. We'll see.

Matheson will be a 25 minute D for us this year. No question about that.

With his size & skill anything less than 40 pts from Dach this year is a huge disappointment.

Our prospect system has had a good boost the last 3 years, just add a top 5 pick in 2023 now.

Good energy, aggressive in the opposing zone but work is needed on defence.

I know they scored on the power play but for the love of Larry Robinson consign the drop back pass to oblivion.

It's going to be a long year. I'll probably watch less games with expectations probably being lower than ever.

To fill out? He is close to 240 pounds! He needs to lose weight to keep speed and stamina.
