Most people are saying it was an awful 2nd period. Which is the truth.

Mikheyev is an absolute scrub outside of his speed. Literally, if he had any NHL skill with that speed he’d have double his points.

Same. With every game being divisional, the gaps became so wide so quick, it actually took the excitement out of these matchups.

It's strange how people share different opinions on certain players or different aspects of the game than you. It's like people have different thoughts. Strange how that happens.

I know right, low IQ plays, that’s his game. Go back to the coma.

If he is forcing shots, he is not making high IQ plays any more than if he is forcing passes. Barring being in a situation where he has not other choice or is desperate, it is a low IQ play.

I don't think you have to be a genius to put together Marner being a problem on a PP that is 1 for the last 31 when the PP runs through him. He has the puck the most and he is far from perfect on the PP right now.

Doesn't mean he is not an amazing or high IQ player. Everyone makes those plays at some point. Doesn't mean it is not something he should work on either... especially the PP thing because I doubt Keefe is going to take him off at any point.

I don't think that's fair, he has no finish or awful luck, but he does have some puck skill or he wouldn't get all of that opportunity around the net. I'm not thrilled with him as a top 6 player either.

Well... not much of an issue, we're still tied, but I would have liked a goal or two in the 2nd to feel a bit better going into the 3rd... We got this! I have a feeling Leaf's are going to have a strong 3rd. GLG!

Don't get me wrong, I watch every game too. I just want the playoffs to start already. Not much to be excited about these remaining regular season games. Playoffs is where things really get exciting and real.
