Wonder what our captain is saying in the locker room right now?

Bet no one is saying jack shit.

It would be a good time to tear it down and tank for a few years with prospects like Wright, Bedard, Michkov in the pipeline. Plus you won’t be able to drop as much in the draft anymore with the rule changes.

We won't make the POs by playing in the Atlantic. No need to tank, we will achieve that through sheer ineptitude.

Firesale upcoming, free Carey Price from this pathetic team, trade him to a contender. Full rebuild needed, we need to draft very high for the next 4-5 yrs...

Unfortunately, that really sums it up.

It's not that we've gotten unlucky. It's not even the lack of talent. The club has just laid down and died here. Sad to see. Very few people can really say they gave their all.

Carey Price has been outstanding and we've wasted it. Caufield... I love his game. Anderson showed up hard for one game. KK has had some good moments.

Anyone else?

Lekhonen.

Unsure if that's worse or better than Ott, Martinsen and King.

I think it's worse since Staal and Merrill are playing regularly.

It's worse. Ott play well with Habs and Martinsen make good things for little time. King suck, but looks Merill loll

I don't see Bergevin surviving this display from his team.
I can stomach a playoff loss, but this is an atrocious display of playoff hockey by the team he built. Damn.

Leafs are playing super solid, so credit to them in that regard. But I also think we're making them look a lot better than they are.

I've never seen a team show so little heart. I'm sure fans in the rink would have helped a lot in that aspect, but still. None of the vets have shown a single ounce of heart.

Outside of Caufield we have no true sniper. No game breaker. No mobile defense, low hockey IQ. All a recipe for disaster. I didn’t think we were going to win the series but thought we might put up a fight. Boy was I wrong on that...

They need to find Caufield more. He needs to play with the puck on his stick.

I also don’t think Toffoli and Caufield are working well together.

Puck simply does not want to go in. I hope i am wrong but feels like the will simply fold now...seen it too many times this season. Zero point from our D all series...fak wow

How’s it gonna go in when all we have been attempting to score form is jam plays at the side
