No.

That was without a doubt the worst hockey I've ever seen us play. At least we've had moments in this series. That one from 2009 was a decapitation on ice. I was actually embarrassed how bad we were.

Take the 2nd period you just saw and extrapolate it over the entire series. That's what 2009 was like.

I remember that series well. That team didn’t have a goalie to mask the brutal play. This series could look much worse then it does even now without Price. It’s been putrid this offseason so far. 4 goals scored in almost 4 games.

Losing to the Leafs isn't what's frustrating to me, that much was expected. Losing while benching the kids, that's bad. Losing while playing like offense is an afterthought, that's bad. And most of all, this is the ficking Leafs, these two teams have not faced each other in 60+ years, they are historical rivals, this is the POs, and there is no meanness or intensity to this group. I don't recall ever being so embarrassed of this team. Even when we faced Boston and they'd beat all our guys, or Ottawa, we still were bringing some intensity.
Today? It's as intense as an all star game.
Puke worthy. Disgusting.

My poor daughter, she wanted a cat and i hate cats, so told her if habs beat leafs she gets a cat. After having her watch part of this game, i am thinking just the suffering is worth a cat. But she slept easier then normal!

At least last summer they were competitive just about every game. This is bad.
