Joey Anderson has had a very meh camp but if he had to play I'm not sure it would be all that bad. Just tough to see him getting in now.

No shortage of guys who can go into the lineup up front.

And a 5/6/7/8 on the backend with Sandin/Dermott/Liljegren/Menell...

Dubas has done a damn good job of filling the edges of the roster. Hopefully the roster performs and rewards him for it.

Hollowell has been one of our best D man in the preseason. Left shot playing the right side. He plays with a lot of confidence.

Marner again leads the Leafs in forwards Ice time by a wide margin. Several times he played short hand and then back on the ice for a regular shift. No need for him to play 22:31 in a preseason game.

menell has looked good all preseason and showed very well in the KHL last year and has some really good ahl numbers. he got traded from minny because of some weird thing with bill guerin. hes not your typical case imo.

also, in lilys case, hard to show you are better than another player when you havent been given any opportunity

I have to say Nylander looks on a completely different level. He's always been very good but he looks like World Championships Willy. Incoming 80+point season.

I'm thinking the buds might have 4, 80+ point players in the upcoming season

Today I learned that being the best player on the Marlies, being a top 5 player in the AHL and having a corsi, fenwick and expected goals for percentage over 60 in your last cup of coffee means you haven't earned a shot. At least I know that guy doesn't watch the Marlies.... or the Leafs for that matter.

Just keep filling the net, keep the PP evolving, get the PK into the top 12, they'll just need average goaltending to put up 100 plus pts

Putting 2 left shots and 2 right shots together on pairs makes zero sense
