GDT: Habs @ Leafs - 7pm

they were 7th in goals against last season. say what you want about the Canadian division, but there was no lack of firepower facing the Leafs defence.

There's better hitters and fighters, but you know what to expect from them and can play around it.

Nobody expects Darcy Tucker jumping into your bench 1v10.

He made alot of good plays on that goal.. he also blocked a shot when the net was empty to create the chance on the same shift...then made the beauty pass for the goal.
 
tbh i have menell over dermott and holl atm too. i really think this guy can be good and he only hasnt gotten a shot due to that odd situation in minny.

Yeah, I am a big supporter for him making the team. The guy will run through a brick wall for the team.

One of those bounces off the boards is in the net two years ago and we're talking about how Freddy had no chance on it. The defense is just eating pucks every time they get close to a danger area.

I’d agree with that. Perhaps the Leafs do view it differently. I don’t know why TSN would care one way or another.

He has looked better than Simmonds. As @Stephen said, it's better to have the guys in their prime on the team than the guys at the ends of their careers. The energy Gabriel brings is contagious and he would quickly be a fan favorite, increasing crowd support.

Whats our opening night starting Lineup looking like now?

Also, its a breath of fresh air to see a Nick Ritchie in the lineup. We haven't had a Power Forward like him for years.
