I really hope Monahan can keep it up for you guys. Happy to see him do well. The move out of here just kinda had to happen with the cap, his injuries and how he was last season, but I love the dude, really hoping he rebounds hard even if it makes the trade look bad for us
He was essentially traded for Kadri, so even at his best Monahan isn't that good of a player.

Thank god for Caufield/Suzuki, will make this long season easier to get through. I barely watched any of the preseason and haven't watched a non Habs NHL game in over 10 years but I was really impressed with Monahan as a first look. Glad to see Harris do well and Guhle/Xhekaj hold their own despite some bumps which were to be expected as the jump from juniors to the NHL is got to be extremely tough.

We will see hoe the hips hold up. Looks like hes just happy being back to playing hockey even though he probably isn't as dynamic as he once was.

It's only one game, but it looks like he could be a good 3rd line type of player who gladly accepts any role after all he's been through

We got eliminated in the first round again.. and again..
This year let's keep the same top 6 , same def and a worst goalie than the one before!

''Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same f***ing thing… over and over again, expecting… shit to change.''
Their core are getting older, but not better. I have the impression their team is getting worse year after year.

I have two things to say.

1) Guhle is going to be a stud. Wow!
2) I want to thank St Louis for getting me to love hockey again. Last year I didn't watch because I hated the hockey we were playing. Actually the hockey we've been playing for the last few years. St Louis has the Habs playing the kind of hockey I grew up watching in the 60s and 70s. When hockey is played according to St Louis' "concepts" it becomes the beautiful game.
