My point is...don't overreact to a game or a nice play. Like Reway's goal...like Holland's pass..... or Leblanc's infamous pointless effort in his one game that caused a national uproar and 50-page HF thread......

For sure, you're right...

Now tell me this, why cut a player who just gave you a good game and who is a possibility to fill a spot for you one day ?

There's just no logical reason behind this, more so when the player is just going home, not even to another camp or a team...

No matter what happened last year or two years ago or where he was drafted or anything...

Desharnais probably is the best player on the ice tonight, I wonder how much of it is about playing in Québec, at home.

If he can play like that all season...

If he played like that 60 games per year, he'd be a steal at 4M$/4yrs

He said he lost some weight. I can see how this could help him.

He'll always be small, and will always tend to be outmuscled when he's not battling Komisarek. So, better for him to focus on being the quickest and most agile possible. It's only preseason but he seems to be in great form. And his chemistry with MaxPac cannot be denied.

Colbert is a complete non-factor thought. Clearly not ready.

I like McCarron. I don't know if he'll end up a legitimate top-6 winger or a physical role player, but the guy WILL play in the NHL. For a project he really looks good.

3.5, hope he plays like this all year so we can trade him for something good at the end of the year.

We'll see. The question is what we have too much. If Eller really stands up, maybe we could afford to trade Pleky instead, put Chuckie in the centre.

doesn't seem matter where they put galcheyuk, or with who, the guy just makes everyone around him play better.

It's a possibility, but if it were me deciding I'd rather keep Eller and Plekanec. Have Galchenyuk slot as the 3rd line center, I want to ice the best team we can. IMO Plekanec, Eller and Chuckie are better offensively while being better defensively.
