Second line finally showed up. As expected, since they don't have to carry Laine dead ass

I'm more like Exitained at the moment.

I was hoping to see more from Laine. But I can't complain. I was entertained and thoroughly impressed by Beck tonight. Good nite all. To those of you who stayed up and watched the whole game. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Not a great game, and Evans tried to give it away at the end there, but it's nice to win again.

Beck had a solid game. He was fantastic on the forecheck and played well with Dvorak & Gallagher. He gives that line speed & skill which they really need. They were good tonight.

Dach line was better offensively with Anderson & no Laine, but they were still terrible defensively. They were hemmed in the majority of the night.

Suzuki is really out of sync right now. The break can't come soon enough. Great to see Caufield score, though. It was a nice pass by Suzuki.

Laine played a little better, but he doesn't really mesh with Evans & Armia that well. That line was a mess all game.

D is pretty average without Guhle. I don't see us getting close to a WC spot without him.

Tomorrow night, LAK at 10:30 again. Kings are 3-6-1 in last 10.

None of our Lefties are very good on that right side.
And the old slow rightie was not good on that right side either.
I expect we get steam rolled tomorrow Adrian Kempe will do us in again.

From what I'm reading it's my understanding that Laine tried, but there's a mental block. It must be awful for him, he recently came out of the NHLPA program, injury and mental problems again.
And Beck will be a center instead of Dvorak whom you can trade.
Yeah, tried to play without sweating probably

Askarov beats us. I saw him play 3v3 last night and he's 10x better than Giorgiev.
Sharks are still tanking hard but damn they have some fine young players.
Their D is really bad though.

The win means we jump the NYR, but they have a game in hand. We're 5 pts back of WC2. TB has a game in hand.

Detroit jumps into WC1 and are 1 pt back of Ottawa for #3 spot.

Atlantic Division teams hold down spots 7, 8 & 9. CBJ have dropped to 10th. Montreal is 12th.

Yeah, they don't want Askarov to ruin their tank. He'll be full-time next year. They're going to want to draft Schaefer.

Askarov, Celebrini & Schaefer.

Sometime I wish Evans had more "du chien" like a Lapierre had. Where you care so much about winning that you do the impossible and make sure you do not put your team in trouble by lazy plays.
Evans is not the only player who needs more "dog in their nose"
Lapierre says it all the time.
Name me the players who will block a puck with their face on this team.
Nothing new and has yet to be addressed properly.

Will Smith and Collin Graf looks good as well.
The three to four year tank with no pressure to win will end up being better than ours guaranteed.
We need a lottery win something fierce.

We're really not as good without Guhle and Heineman.

Hopefully next year the top 6 forwards and top 3 D are better able to carry the team through injuries.
It would help if Slaf stopped giving the puck away with his cross ice fantasy plays...

he was brutal in that regard tonight.

Pretty dreadful display but I guess the thing that matters the most is they won and broke that losing streak. Fully expect them to roll over and get stomped by the better performing, better rested team tomorrow though.
