If my org tanked and then passed up Cooley, Michkov, Leonard, Nemec, Tkachuk and Hughes for Reinbacher, Slaf and Kotkaniemi...I'd be pissed too!

They've been really smart in a lot of ways, but the top picks + the strange moves (Newhook?) set the rebuild back. Imagine if they had Cooley, Michkov and Tkachuk right now?

It’s easy to say they passed on tkachuk with hindsight now but I’m pretty sure at the time it was a shock that they passed on zadina for kotkaniemi which wouldn’t have turned out any better.

I have a Habs fan friend that is constantly wishing death upon Kent Hughes for picking Reinbacher (among other things). Honestly Habs fans are a different breed...

Montreal's management has been terrible recently.
