Right?

How about we give them both a ton of minutes!

Slaf needs a better Center. Dvorak is responsible defensively but generates nothing. Black hole. And speaking of black holes, Ylonen should be getting Anderson's minutes. The kid has a helluva shot and is responsible on the ice. Just go with it man. It always seems MSL takes 4-5 games to see what everyone else can see.

People have been yelling for SLaf not to get subbed at end of games by Evans and it took him until today, same about Anderson on PP1 and now Ylonen 7 mins and benching on the third.

100%

You can SEE him slowly and surely realizing this in the middle of games lol its so funny

He's been playing better than the average NHLer lately
That's gotta be killing the Slaf Haters inside lmao
One thing is certain I have far more optimisim he'll come up with a puck along the boards than just about anybody else.

So let's talk LHD, going to be very interesting when injured players come back and Hutson finishes his NCCA career.
Matheson
Ghule
Wifi
Hutson
Struble
Harris
Hmmmmm....who goes?

The Habs had 3 dmen play over 25 minutes today according to the boxscore. Matheson, Guhle, and Barron.

Struble looked like he belonged again today. 13:03 TOI with 1 assist and a +2 and 2 SOG.

The boxscore hit totals can't be accurate right? SJ with 12 hits and the Habs only 8 hits all game?
Struble already earning the coach’s trust, playing some 5 more mins than he did in his first game.

Struble may never see another AHL game again.

If Ylonen wants to play top six he needs to start getting his nose dirty similar to Newhook in recent games. He certainly has the tools.
Normally wth the Armia call up, I'd be worried about Ylonen losing his spot just in the top 12, never mind the top 6 or 9.

But I think he's earned himself some rope and Pez hasn't been as noticeable. So when Armia comes in it should be Pez who comes out.

Hopefully soon Ylonen can supplant Pearson in the top 9...

Why include Hutson who isn't here and hasn't made the team yet.

A lot of people angry that Slaf is developing
Exactly. Seems people want him to fail.

His possession stats last 10 games have been off the charts, he is learning his body (today they just couldn't handle him) and his playmaking is developing as he gets more confident. He should have had 2-3 assists today alone. He is 19, I can't wait to see what he is like at 22 man.

As he’s getting better he’s getting praised for it. I think the posts on the forum are fair, from what I gather of this thread at the very least.

There’s just no need for a divide on this. Posters will mention the good and the bad, it’s expected of a forum, no?

Again, he had a great game and it’s fun to see it.

Ya Dvo needs to be with Gally and Pearson and just pass time right through the end of the year… and his contract.

I missed most of the 3rd. Not happy about an SO win against the worst team in the league.

Glad that CC finally scored again at 5v5, hopefully his next one at 5v5 doesn't take 19 games again.
Happy to see MSL rewarded Slaf's great work this game with OT shifts and a try on the shoutout.

Tomorrow will be brutal...
