He's going to play on a razor's edge and can easily go over the line and seriously injure someone if he isn't neutered properly.
Josh did a decent job but I want Xhekaj in and around the net.

Xhekaj role can’t be replaced. We need him in the playoffs.

Kapanen looked like a player that, with a good offseason, will take a NHL spot out of camp. Fast, balanced, decisive... If he gets a bit stronger and a bit more assertive physically, he's going to be a very strong top 9 player quickly

I don't understand why they cannot just play Jack on a fourth line. He cannot be worse than Pezzeta who brings nothing. Zero. And call back his brother from Laval who is actually a good hockey player. A real freaking crash and bang line. And I feel that gritty guys can do more as forwards to send messages than on D cause as a defenseman the responsabilities can be a bit much.

Am I the only one who thinks that MSL should create a lineup like this :

Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky
Anderson - Dvorak - Gallagher
Newhook - Evans - Armia
Laine - Kapanen - Demidov
Heineman - Pezzetta

I like the idea of Kapanen centering Demidov and Laine. I'm less crazy about Newhook playing left wing on the forth line. I can't see Marty trying it which is a shame.

I think so too. Kapanen is a keeper. I'm not sure what all the negativity is about.

I think so too. Kapanen is a keeper. I'm not sure what all the negativity is about.

If he scored instead of hitting the post there'd be a lot of praise. He's starting to really show flashes of his offensive ability though. I like his potential.

We’ll cross that bridge when we get there but MSL has not shown that he is overly concerned about physicality when devising his lineups.

Habs haven't given up more than 2 goals in a game during this 6 game win streak. Montembeault has just been incredible.

And those goals scored by opponent have required help from Matheson

As much as I would love for Arber to play, I gotta say, Anderson gave Wilson a pretty good beating earlier this season. That said, I didn't like the non response to Shitrot's hit on our captain. I get it, they probably didn't want to take a penalty but, after it became 3-1, someone should have taken off Shitrot's head.

At the very least, during the game, every time Larkin touched the puck, make him regret it with pulverizing but clean hits. I agree though, Arber has to play over Savard

It's like choosing between a shit burger or shit sandwich. Both are pretty bad. If I had to choose I'd go with TSN personally. I hate TSN so much for their constant Leaf circle jerk all the time, but I can't stand Ron MacLean on Sportsnet and the play by play is better on TSN.

Josh Anderson will be as good a deterrent we’ll see in the lineup. MSL will likely continue to not trust Xhekaj enough — he’ll likely be a stand-in, in the event of an injury, is how I see it. Hopefully I’m wrong.
