I would play Slaf ahead of Ylonen. But Ylonen created a lot tonight. He set up Suzuki beautifully, only for Suzuki to hit the post. Would have had two apples.

Happy to see guys like Ylonen, Anderson, Evans and Monahan instead of our 1st overall pick (and current 2nd best forward) in OT.

Fun hockey is always welcome, had a few stand up moments in the 2nd and 3rd period. That said, MSL's new coach luster has long faded for me a while ago and it's getting stale.

This doesn't get to OT if we scored on one of the 14 high danger chances in the 3rd. Rangers were passing the puck to Canadiens players all period.

Montembeault was outstanding. PK did its job tonight. Ylonen, Suzuki, Slafkovsky, Monahan & Anderson all had strong games.

I was about to write that Matheson had a good game tonight too then he made that bullshit pass in OT leading to a partial break for Zibanjad. Why Mattie? Why?

Guhle really struggled tonight. 4th line got buried on the cycle. Overall, considering the players we had, I thought the lines were solid. Hopefully, Heineman didn't get hurt from the hit he took from Trocheck.

Fun game.
