Ugly win, but I'll take it.

Tough games for Guhle & Matheson, but Guhle hung tough. He made a terrific slot play in the final minute.

Savard is a f***ing beast on the boards. Single-handedly killed off 11 seconds after Dvorak couldn't clear the puck -- again. He & Gallagher are just terrible. Why are they on in the final 30 seconds!!

Tremendous game by Montembeault, especially in the 3rd when Montreal looked satisfied to earn a point & weren't playing aggressively.

Slafkovsky & Dach both had great games, too. Slafkovsky was a freaking beast from 2nd period on.

Anderson-Evans-Armia should be our 3rd line.

All 3 of those players are better than Dvorak & Gallagher.

2 PTS!! Baby, we're in WC2! Tied with Ottawa & only 1 pt back of TB for 3rd.

I must say that I'm f***ing impressed by Armia this season. He's a beast defensively. Kudos to him.

Monty, 2nd star silenced the haters.

Slaf is playing so much better right now. He's skating well and is way more confident with the puck.

I like that our offence no longer relies only on CC (who was pretty quiet tonight).

I didn't like our 3rd period but man we sure fought through it. The team believes.

Monty starting was always the right call in this one, great game or not. He was outstanding!
