Went on the main board. Didnt know wings fan were that whiny and petty. Yeah they got hosed on the waived off goal, but honestly, habs should have been 5 on 4 the whole game the way they were holding, slashing, obstructing if the refs were any good. That and all the non-offsides called. Yep refs were garbage but the better team won!

As someone who is a Penguins bandwagoner when they go further than the Habs, I can say they still hold a grudge for thinking they got robbed in 2009 against the Pens, and for Crosby being caught up in the on ice celebration during the handshake.

In other words, the Red Wings fanbase is Taylor Swift.

I'm usually in the group of people that defends DD here.

But he was absolute garbage throughout the whole game, well, except for a shift in the OT.

How did we win this game.

How did DD and Patches contribute anything at all?

How.. Who.. HOW?!?! What?

What a rob. Oh god.

A rob? No way. The Habs were definitely the better team overall tonight. The only reason it was close is because we took the majority of penalty calls. The scoring chances were almost 2:1 for us.

Pathetic apologist fans..:shakehead

Price moved in the crease to follow Datsyuk and was impeded.

Why the self loathing?

Go Habs Go!! One of the sweetest wins of the season since we beat one of the most structured and aggressive teams in the League.

Icing on the cake that DD is pissing off so many "fans" of the Habs.
Exactly the blue paint is the goalie's. It does not matter if the offensive player has established position this is not basketball you have to let the goalie have his crease otherwise the goal is no good. Now if you shoot and the goalie blocks it but there's a rebound in the paint then it's a free for all.

The Habs were 0/10 in the 2nd period. The Wings played a perfect road game to boot. And the call on Datsyuk's wondergoal - which didn't count but it was very unlucky for them.

The Habs pull off yet another miracle.

Man, the Eastern conference really is terrible. It's freaking wide-open. If MB marks a smart roster move going forward the Habs can really plow through the East.

Desharnais was awful tonight, but he came through asset the end.

Unreal win.

Awful ?
He had 4 sog , won 65% of his faceoffs and had a couple of nice rushes. Pacioretty on the other hand was really awful tonight.

What about Bourque ? Eller ? Pap ?

So Habs have 3 wins now going into 3rd period trailing in 2014/2015 through 6 games. In 2013/2014, Habs had 3 3rd period comeback wins through the entire 82 game season.

that's a big..big stat...once you build that belief it just sticks and you have it when you need it like the playoffs.

We have the cap space to acquire two superstars at the deadline.

:)

Let's just hope MB can work some magic and get us a good one.

meh. we hear this all the time, wings made the switch, were competitive and hard to beat in the west.

sure, the best team in the nhl is in the west, maybe the 2nd too, but it's a wash after that...

Parenteau killed some plays in the O-zone IMO and missed a wide open net. I don't see what the problem is with Eller, he's skating hard, taking the body and didn't made costly turnovers. He won key faceoffs and he's playing hard. What are people expecting out of him?

Well, I am Eller's biggest fan, so I can understand the frustration. He started the game strong, but after he got high sticked, his decision making with the puck was off. His line played well defensively, but Eller didn't do much with the puck on his stick tonight. It's ok, I found that it was his first really bad game of the year.

I legit get upset every time DD gets a point, so you can imagine how pissed I am right now.

I honestly feel the same way

ill never be truly happy with the team until DD and Bork are off of it.

but if 0 points in first 20 games last year wasnt enough to get rid of him, i dont know what will.
