I don't think anybody asked Bergevin if this team was in transition because there isn't a team who finishes among the top of the NHL for 3 years in a row that's still in transition. Nobody would ever come up with this crap. I think it's something Bergevin just mentioned on his own to maybe give himself some leeway.

Not sure I understand. Why does it make more sense if it's something he said himself than if he was asked a question?

This. They all ****ing suck except Eller and Petry. And to a lesser extent Pateryn. And to an even lesser far off percent Gallagher and Subban.

Considering he now has to carry he defense partner along with the offence and still make great defensive plays, I think he has been one of the best Habs.
